Once you've chosen the Atomic Media staff to design your website, the work can begin. During the design process, information will need to be exchanged between your company and ours, and you'll be presented with samples for approval as the work progresses.

Atomic Media site design does not include our Atomic Hosting services unless you are getting the design as part of one of our Atomic Hosting Plans. It may be more beneficial to your interests to select a plan, thereby reducing the details surrounding putting and maintaining your site on the internet. You may also consider choosing and applying for a domain name. Atomic Media can represent you in this, and have your site operating under your own selected domain in no time. Remember that these items are only included in our Atomic Hosting Plans, and will incur additional charges is purchased separately.


1. ANALYZE WHAT'S NEEDED FOR YOUR WEBSITE:

• Which special features are needed, i.e. flash animation, email services, etc.?
• How many pages are necessary and how will it be categorized?
• What is the “atmosphere” of the website?
• Who are your target audience?
• How would you like to be similar or different from competitors?
• Please submit to Atomic Media any images and text you would on your website

2. FIRST MOCKUP AND APPROVAL:
Atomic Media will provide one (or two if an Atomic Hosting Plan is ordered) image or web page drafts to illustrate what our designers have envisioned for your website regarding the "atmosphere" and organization. The designer will carry on with the project using the chosen mock-up when approved, or make revisions according to the client's wishes.

3. CONSTRUCTION OF YOUR SITE:
Our designers will provide frequent communication with regard to the progress of your website. Atomic Media will provide you with a login that allows you to view the progress history of your website, or request an URL in which you can view the latest current site as it progresses. During this phase communication, especially through email is critical. Atomic Media will track all emails exchanged and comments submitted through the control panel to keep revision requests organized and flowing smoothly.

4. IMPLEMENTATION OF YOUR WEBSITE:
Medium sized websites (5-10 pages) typically take 4-6 weeks to construct. However, completion is determined when both the designer and the client are satisfied with the website. Your website will then be submitted to several major search engines.

5. UPDATES AND REVAMP
Your website is your informational and marketing tool online, hence, it should change as often as the signs in your window display; keep your online customers up to date with your new products, offers, promotions, and services. Included in some of our packages are monetary credits for an update per month for several months. However, although your update credit has expired content updates are only $40CDN per hour.
